Health & Safety
FPDS strives to operate a healthy and safe environment for both children and staff. All teachers and staff members have required training in first aid, CPR, SIDS, communicable disease recognition, child abuse prevention and maltreatment, child development, and teaching methods.
Complete policies and procedures can be found in the family handbook. Preschool health and safety policies and protocols are governed by the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE).
